Bruce Elliot serves as Vice President of Supply Chain for Nissin Foods, USA a leader in the Asian noodle category. This leadership role provides supply chain strategy, infrastructure planning, demand planning, supply planning, material planning, logistics, and customer fulfillment for his division.
Bruce began his career as a commissioned officer in the US Army Aviation. Following his military service, Bruce began a 20 year supply chain journey with some of the world’s leading logistics corporations such as Frito-Lay, Avery Dennison, The Coca-Cola Company, and most recently Nissin Foods, USA. His experience and responsibility include holding positions such as Sales & Operations Planning, Corporate Supply Planning, North American Transportation, Procurement Planning, Program Management Office, Corporate Strategy, and he currently leads Supply Chain Operations at Nissin Foods.
While leading Nissin Foods, USA, Bruce has transformed the demand function and introduced new technology and new processes improving accuracy from 54% to 72% supporting significant finished goods inventory reductions and improvements in customer fulfillment. In addition to the demand planning improvements, Bruce redesigned the distribution network and introduced a new transportation management system reducing the cost by more the $0.04 per case.
Bruce earned his undergraduate degree in business at the University of San Francisco and earned his MBA at the University of Denver. Currently Bruce is a Doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California studying multi-generational engagement in the workplace and adjunct teaches at various universities.
As his hobby, Bruce enjoys outdoor sports and competes in various triathlons throughout the year.
